  4. What does La Sagrada Familia translate into? What's the weirdest and best new foods you've eaten so far? What type of beverages does a discerning college student enjoy in Barcelona?

  5. La sagrada familia translates into 'the sacred family church' and the best food is the food in the cafeteria. Seriously, whatever the food (pork, chicken, pasta, steak, stuff that we can't tell what it is) it's been great. And speaking of beverages, during normal times, I drink a lot of water. You can buy like a liter of water for .40 Euros at the grocery. During going out times, I either drink Estrella (the main beer here) or the .80 Euro bottles of wine I can buy at the grocery. Hope that answers any questions. . .

  6. Estrella translates to star, correct?

I'm really enjoying the blog Evan!

How are your classes going? I'd be interested to know what's going on it your sport and culture class, especially with the World Cup going on.

Keep up the good work, and be safe.

  7. Your Grandma would like to know what "guapo" means. Must be handsome. Great pictures and narrative. Thanks. We look forward to your next writing. Have fun and hope your classes are going well.
    Love you

(do we embarrass you when we send you all those hugs and kisses for the world to see?) Sorry, Dear, don't think you could do too much about it though. :)

  9. Figured I would answer some questions while I'm here. . . Estrella means star, my sports class is really interesting--right now we are talking about FC Barca and how it got to be so huge, and of course guapo means hansome (I put the link to the translation under the title), and those kisses would never embarrass me
